YOUR SAMPLE KIT

When you order your kit, you’ll be asked for the suite numbers of the designs you like best, so you’ll want to browse the site to find your favorites first. Our kits include not only actual samples of our invitations, but also all the ink and paper swatches you’ll need to make decisions about every aspect of your invitations. Keep in mind that every suite we offer can be done in any colors you like, with your choice of patterns, layers and envelopes, so when you are looking through the site, it can be helpful to imagine that all the suites are in black and white, simply because the only thing you are really choosing when you choose what we call “a suite” is just the basic fonts and layout shown. Everything else can change in proofing, and we do often have samples in many more color options than are shown on the site, so if you already have a color palette picked out be sure to let us know so we can create the perfect sample kit just for you! Every design we offer can be created in any color combination you choose, in your choice of papers, envelopes and layers. Additionally, you can change your envelope liner pattern to any of our 100+ options, all at no additional charge. And of course, Hebrew text is always free and available on every invitation we make (yup, even if it’s not shown on the sample!) Having a shared event? Virtually every suite we offer can be created for B’nai/B’not Mitzvah at no extra charge. And if you’d like to add a logo, monogram or any sort of them-related imagery just let us know! For the design savvy, our ordering process gives you nearly unlimited creative freedom. By selecting your suite, colors, papers and backer, you can create an invitation that is 100% unique. And because we understand that for some, making these selections can be a bit daunting, we are available to help you at every step of the way. timing

You’ll typically want to mail your invitations out 2 months before your Mitzvah, and you’ll want to receive your invitations at least a month before that, both so you have time to order matching postage and because even though nothing almost ever goes wrong in shipping, it could, and if we need to recreate anything, we’ll obviously need some time. We suggest beginning at least 5 months before the big day, but there are many who get things started a full year or more in advance. On the other end of the spectrum, we can still help when the big day is as little as 2-1/2 months away if you have all your basic info ready to go – please just call to review specifics if you have less than 10 weeks until your event. For a stress-free process, we suggest calling at least 5 months before the big day (but we’re happy to rush as needed! : )

PRICING BASICS

Our pricing structure is designed to be as simple as everything else we do, and you can view our complete price list here, but we are always happy to talk through your event details and give you an official quote just to be sure you're not forgetting anything important...simply call!

MINIMUMS

Orders start as low as $1000 and 100 invitations. All invitation items are sold in sets of 25’s.

BILLING

We bill 50% when you place your order. The second 50% is auto-billed when your first proofs are sent (typically within a week). If you add anything to your order before signing off – décor, tableware, or just increased counts – we’ll bill whatever you tell us to add whenever you tell us to add it.

CANCELLATIONS

Once design work has begun on your order, deposits are non-refundable. Items cancelled before production has begun are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Orders in production cannot be cancelled.



ADDRESSING

All addresses are printed directly on your envelopes in the same fonts and colors as rest of your suite, so you’ll be sure to dazzle guests right from their first peek into the mailbox! We offer all 4 types of addressing: guest, return, reply and thank you note return addressing, and all are ordered a la carte. If you would like us to print your guests’ mailing addresses, simply complete our excel template and return it to us when you approve your proofs for press. As soon as your first proofs are ready, we’ll email you a link and a password to your very own proof page, and you’ll see a thumbnail of every single piece you’ve ordered – fronts, backs, addresses, the whole megillah! You can view everything full-screen (just like when you are browsing the suites on our site), so you can easily see every component of your suite, including your actual wording as well as any custom color and pattern changes you have requested. ​And if you need to modify your proofs for any reason, you have not just one but two full rounds of revisions included with your order to ensure the entire process is 100% stress-free!



PAPER OPTIONS

MATTE

Select our Signature Smooth Matte 120# stock for a clean, understated look. This is a premium paper and a perfect option to ensure you get the quality you expect for a special occasion.

SHIMMER

For an upscale look without breaking the bank, try our 120# Shimmer Paper. This gorgeous stock and is far and away the most popular choice for both Bat and Bar Mitzvah orders. Especially stunning with metallic inks. (If you are trying to picture, think pearlescent, not glitter.)

COTTON

Upgrade to our Luxe 100% Pure Cotton stock in a whopping 130# weight for the ultimate textured letterpress feel. Colors print most softly on cotton as it is (not surprisingly) a bit more absorbent than other stocks, so it’s especially well suited for classic and vintage styles, and nothing takes foil like cotton.

LAYERS + POCKETS

FLAT BACKERS

Often referred to as a "layer,” these cards come mounted to the back of your invitations and provide a perfect frame for the front. Choose from an assortment of over 50 stunning papers and colors, in both card stock and museum board weights. Also available in double-sided glitter!

POCKET BACKERS

From the front, these backers look just like our Flat Backers, but when you turn them over there's a handy pocket to hold all of your extra Invitation Suite components such as Reception, Information and Reply Cards. Because your invitations should be perfectly organized…just like you!

OUTER SLEEVES

The ultimate first impression. Our outer pockets hold all your Invitation Suite components in one tidy package, with a gorgeous custom foil stamp on the front. Available in all the same stunning papers as our other layers and pockets, with more than 30 foil colors to choose from, these showstoppers fit right into our standard size envelopes.

 
 



LUXE OPTIONS

FOILSTAMPING

Nothing grabs guests’ attention like genuine foil stamping. With hundreds of foil colors available, foil is the ultimate way to make your invite shine like no other, and is a stunning addition to virtually any suite we offer. Be sure to request samples of foil when ordering your sample kit!

DIECUTTING

Craving a custom shape to set your invitations apart from the rest? Easy! We can die-cut any shape you can image - a star or a circle, sure, but what about a flip flop? A surfboard? A baseball bat? We’ve done those and more, and if you can dream it we can do it!

CUSTOM DESIGN

If you’ve seen it in Mitzvah Invitations, we’ve probably done it, so if you’re craving something super unusual, we’re always happy to take on a fabulous new project, and we’ll always do our very best to make those Mitzvah dreams come true!



DECOR + TABLEWARE


In addition to our gorgeous Invitation Suites, we offer perfectly coordinated Mitzvah Décor pieces for every suite we sell, all of which can be customized to match your dream color palette. Our options include Sign-In Boards, Dancefloor Decals, Place Cards, Menu Cards, Program Covers and more. Need a matching logo? We’ve got you covered and can add your logo to any component in your order. We can even send you a file for use in your gobo, stickers and montage! save the dates


We feature a variety of save the dates on our site but can easily create one to match your perfect invitation, and of course we can take care of your addressing on these, too! You’ll typically want to mail your Save The Dates 6-12 months before the big day and we suggest giving us a call at least a month before you’d like to mail them out.
